JVC TV a Claps and Waves Recognition

Another great innovation of JVC to their TV which responds to its remote control which is YOU!. Well you can control several functions of JVC TV by gestures and clapping. JVC television is programmable to different claps or gesture in order to change channels like set the device to change channels to HBO every time you clap your hand twice, also you can do other functions on JVC TV by moving your hand whether you wave it or whatever. The television has a sensors that will identify your gestures and claps you stored to its memory and execute it right away.

I'm seeing that soon our television will be like Tom Cruise monitor in his movie "Minority report".

Intel's "Menlow" MID and UMPC an iPhone-like

In this generation of mobility and accessibility, Intel showed to the world their touchscreen MID( Mobile Internet Device) and UMPC (Ultra-Mobile PC) gadget which is likely the iPhone in your pocket. Intel named it "Menlow", which uses 45 nanometer Hi-k low-power Silverthorne processors and Poulsbo chipset. When it comes to connectivity Intel extended its broadband coverage with 802.11n wireless technology, 3G and WiMAX so that you can surf at the top of the mountains.

"In the first half of 2008, Intel will take a major step to deliver what these users are looking for with our first platform designed from the ground up for MIDs and UMPCs – codenamed Menlow, which will deliver 10x lower power compared to the first UMPCs in the market," said Chandrasekher.

Great! You can save some cents of your electric bill with this and buy extra donuts.

The MID is powered by Linux and this has a size of 4" to 6" touch screens which mainly be used for mobile internet, music/video playback and social networking (Myspace, Friendster, etc.).

The BDP-S2000ES will have carry the S500 features including HDMI 1.3, 1080p/60 and 24p output, x.vColor, 7.1-channel Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and ETS-HD1, also separated audio/video boards and sturdy chassis to minimize interference, and vibrations. $1300 tag price will be displayed in your local stores.
